Why do they care if stuff is exposed? They'd just reset to the save point and it is as if nothing happened... Unless of course it's the organization bullshitting the MC... Or it's the author trying to bullshit his way out of lore bullshit via more bullshit. Bull-shit-stack.

Yeah, this entire story makes no sense. The "company" has control of space/time and more. No reason they have to have these people do the things they are except an arbitrary reason made up by the author to support whatever they want even if it goes against the systems in place. "This happens.....because I said so! Hahah, I'm a genius!"
