So I want to discuss something rather controversy: an extreme ecchi manga, but the story is awesome.

I come across a manga called "Tamarowa" (from author of Tomodachi Game and pretty much a lot of series, just different mangaka) and so far, the story is pretty interesting. However, I rather shock to see how many people give it low score. I can understand the lewd art turn people off, but the story is good??? It's the bachelor, thot vs thot with psychology and mystery? There are more than the art and it's the story??
Obviously, I'll drop the series if it's only tits, but the characters and story drive me. I can't help that people hating the series too much because its art, which honestly is unfair. I understand reading it and think "Nah, not my taste" and simply leave it without scoring, but the amount of people giving score 1 is ridiculous.

Black Joke is even more extreme in gore and ecchi development. Too bad no one pick it 😅

I think Hater will hate regardless. But your post definitely made me want to try out this Tamarowa manga, though I am not a fan of unnaturally big tits.

I have the feeling that this there is a lack of mangas with a good story and lewd art.
I´m currently looking for yuri mangas that have nice romantic storys but also dive more specific into some sex sceenes.
I found https://mangadex.org/title/46749/we-re-not-dating-but-we-did-it-anyway for exampel.
It´s about the struggle of braking up but still feeling something and being uncertain about your feelings, supported by some H to stress the emotional tense.

There is still room for development in the manga culture.
We need more stories with an intelligent use of h scenes to get a message across.

@Faloters this one use bdsm play for character development and shiet

I'm not fans of it either. It just story really determine whether the fanservice worth it. I honestly dislike Prison School since it's too ridiculous even for comedy.
The girls and MC barely get chara development over chapters. The side male charas are the one I honestly cheer for 😶

Good story
lol, you do you. I don't care about the sexy art, but Yamaguchi Mikoto has always been a huge hack since as far back as his shitty Shinigami sister manga. He leans on far better artists to make up for his same-y, hollow twists and daddy issues that build up to hugely disappointing endings. The fact that embracing the schlock halfway through Dead Tube was the best decision he could make to improve his garbage manga says a lot. I think the rating, while directed at the wrong issue, is more than appropriate.

Really like Stravaganza as well. The fact it's still unfinished despite only being a volume away from completion is a real shame. Hopefully someone will pick it up some day, since by the looks of it it won't be another entire year until the official localization wraps it up.

@Faloters its really a light type of "BDSM" and they handle it with so much care not your stereotypical painful bdsm thing with gimp suit and spike and shiet lole. You might ends up enjoying it because I'm not into those stuff aswell but kinda surprised with how soft (and looked nice) some of their "Play Season" is.

@Pantsman

Lmao, funny you mention the shinigami story because the ending also pissed me off. I also drop Dead Tube in the middle. Honestly, Yamaguchi Mikoto story is either hit or miss. Ending is one of biggest concern to me too since it can ruin a good manga. The weird thing is, some of the stories that isn't ecchi from the same author are decent.

I've read a good psychology and mystery manga as well about elimination game where the loser take winner debts. Great concept and execution, but the ending.... The ending makes me question why the story even exist.

@dane17eduard

Okay, your recommendation sounds lit.

@MawMaw
I wish I can give you yuri recommendation, but I've only had fluffy shoujo-ai. Yuri and yaoi itself like josei and smut manga, the one with good story is a bit harder to find 😅

@comedyxtragedy
Tamarowa is awesome! I have read all 12 chapters of it. The story is great and the character development is surprisingly detail, although slightly one dimension for side characters.
But I can tell why some people dislike it. The idea of men demeaning women is hard to bare. A perverted man who declared he is only in the game for female sexuality is really difficult to like.

@junonlee3

I honestly found the fact that the man is scum suitable with the theme. We aren't supposed to like him after all. He stated virtue women won't like him, which is why he targets gold-digger.
