Dissecting Girls - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Screams of a Fetus

I knew it wouldn't give me any enjoyment so why the heck did I read it... The ending was pretty bad at that 🙄

This seems more like vintage horror, so from a certain point of view it's interesting to see what people of that year (publication date doesn't appear un MU) used to be scared. The true test of an horror writer's worth is time itself.

The author be like:
- Wanna see something scaaaary? Here, intestines! Fetuses! Hysterical women!

I kind of agree; I really want to see the date on this to see what else was horror at the time.

Partly because, frankly, this does pretty much nothing for me, today, other than a 'What was the point of that?'... the message is a wee bit blunt and execution somewhat bland. In comparison, while a lot of Junji Itou's work, or that... radio frequency one elicits a similar response from me, there's a sense of perplexing disquiet underlying it that this one doesn't invoke. (And, sometimes, there's the screaming heebeejeebies that set in afterwards, which I doubt I'll be getting from here.)

Japan this is not how babies work. No wonder you’re having population problems.
