I know horror doesn't have to make sense....but at least the first two chapters are pretty bad. Everything happens just because, and more than terrified I'm just eyerolling.

had to revisit this because i was binging on horror stuff yesterday, must've felt numb to this one while reading it
but alas, it really is just corny..

the "villain" in the second chapter is pretty stereotypical, whilst the first chapter is just uninspired. no believable emotion was being expressed in that chapter, ending up being lackluster.
i'll keep reading so you don't have to
