Do Chokkyuu Kareshi x Kanojo - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - A New Semester!!!

Yeah, I wouldn't dare to get between these idiots at this point, they're clearly made for each other XD

@ChronicleKey Like totally curvy. Modern translation = T H I C C. I appreciate the proofreader's efforts, but nobody uses/knows what buxom is anymore haha, that was a term thrown around back in the 40s/50s/60s.

@friedtofu I disagree. Plenty of people still use buxom and voluptuous. On the contrary, I don't want to have to make a detour to Urban Dictionary every time someone uses the latest internet typo to become popular.

Reading this I feel like I'm going to laugh 50dB louder than the usual snicker romcoms get out of me.

@peris I was being facetious with my modern-day translation. But in reply to your comment, voluptuous; maybe. You can use that word to describe a multitude of things, I still see it thrown around in modern day publications a decent amount. But where on Earth do you hear people use buxom? I travel, I meet new people regularly in and out of work, I read, but I don't think I've heard the word buxom in spoken word or print in the last decade at least. Just give me an example of the most recent time your buddy or someone you know used the term buxom in a sentence. Humor me.

@friedtofu I completely agree with you. Nowadays buxom is only really used in porn sites, in memes, and in forums and comment sections, but it isn't ever spoken seriously without it being a joke. It's an old slang term that no one would ever find in serious print.

"Voluptuous" would fit here so much better.
