If TDB would give up the path of revenge, then he could live happily like his mother would have wanted with Elise. Instead, the brothers appear poised to murder one another over revenge.

Couldn't the prince get justice for his Mom without murder? Also, what would Mikey do if Elise demands for justice for the Empress?

If only there were an Elise doppelganger or some other woman who could turn Mikey away from death. Like, he said that if Elise went with him, he'd give up the crown. Instead, he's doing this over his Mom.

Though, in truth, this would be solved if their older brother had lived.
