I will play angel's advocate here (See what I did there? ). Given what we've seen killing MOST monsters would probably be a good thing. Monster san is kinda a grey area as it's not clear how many if any innocent people he's actually eaten, minotaur would be torturing people in debt hell if they weren't masochists who liked it, and that one eyes demon thing said himself he ate people.
So yeah.... from our perspective wanting to wipe out monsters seems bad since we're viewing things from their side.... but objectively speaking they are clearly mostly evil.
@Metazoxan but from what we've seen the angels are absolutely no match for the monster her killed the whole old army that was stronger than the current chief
not to mention they have been shown to be trash and the hero abandoned them so wouldn't be surprising if god was dead and that gods will is just the current chief angel's grudge
@Metazoxan still, there should be a reason for the hero to not be acting against the monsters, right? After all, who knows if monsters are the lesser of two evils, what with how much of an asshole the god in sora no otoshimono ended up being, and how mindless angels are shown to be here (at least in following orders).
I mean, no matter how much of an asshole the hero was, he could've just dealt with monster-san if he wanted to, yet he decided to fight the angels that were going to irrupt into monster-san's house.
...Probably because of something like Popa's mother being killed by angels for some kind of heretic act, or just because when angels could've saved her they just didn't, but still.
Several Chapters with Serious Mood and Drama? Look like Minazuki Suu-sensei is "getting serious" now
I was dying to know why she cried in the raws, now I know....
One have to wonder about the true nature of monster in this world. Let's not forget that the villagers did want Popa to be sacrificed so Gyaza would stop attacking them. I wonder why Gyaza had to attack the village from time to time.
