Shi xia will eventually divorce with Li Jin Yan after he puts her through a bunch of BS like the shtty person he is. She gives birth to his son and years later, she is now engaged to her 1st Love/previous classmate An Yinan(?) while Li Jinyan gets engaged to some other chick named Mu Jiayan (this girl is Xia's friend and is in love with An yinan) and there's a bunch of other conspiracies and stuff just.... be warned there's a lot of Chinese webtoons like this.... NGL most of the characters will frustrate you to death

The son is nicknamed chenchen and on the day shi xia was gonna marry the first love, Li Jin yan took away her son (He just found out about chenchen and shi xia didn't want her kid at the wedding and left the boy with a friend) and told her to come see him

She panicked because she didn't want Li jin yan to ever know about his son, and abandons the wedding. Cue huge drama alert.

The ml is soooo bad! It’d be nice if we know where he’s coming from like a backstory then I can try to understand his actions. However, a sudden change only shows his selfishness which is annoying..,
