This is so entertaining. I've noticed that, between this manga and Neko Mix, it's quite apparent that the author has a bone to pick about horrid parenting - especially in regard to the dubious ways in which some men approach fatherhood.

My guess is that this is probably all connected to the mass murder case Totonou was informed of earlier.
