God that'd suck some major balls the whole thing would just stop and there'd be no more progress cuz a new girl would just get in the way, or a new girl that likes senpai could be a catalyst, the last thing to finally make them admit they like each other, but i doubt it .... authors just love to blueball their readers to the very end, itd be pretty cool if i was wrong and they get together before the end of the series but thats pretty unlikely, big X for doubt on that happening.
