The childhood friends are annoying as hell. The nice way to put it is tHat the MC is tolerant, but frankly he's just a pushover. The majority of Japanese works I've read all do this but I have to honestly ask: do Japanese authors write about and draw bitchy girls because they're all pathetic masochists? Volatile personalities cute? It's really late for me to say this, but the Japanese are sick in the head. I'm done venting now.
