Honestly I'm disappointed at how this turned out. A bunch of unresolved plot threads like why the MC was so damn important to these people, the other apostles, the other cities and who ran them, what privileges and powers are afforded to people higher up, who developed this "game" and why, the whole backstory of the tutorial guy, etc. Id honestly venture to guess that the author either got bored with this one and just decided to go with the "screw it" ending, or he's a troll. Either way It's a lame ending imo.
Basically MC's team survived but because their plate technically touched the lava he still lost. He's a slave, his sister is about to become a slave, his friend has lost her chance at freedom and both of them are probably going to get sold as sex slaves and used till the day they die. His slaves have no chance at freedom now. But he's now locked up and this rich A-hole is gonna torment him. rocks fall everybody dies. What a waste.
