@Mikasa2077 the story of the anime has diverged a lot from the manga.

@Maiorem Yup, seems like it. Initially Bandai had took away Hyakki's senses in anime but he got his vision back straight away here which he had gained it after some episodes in anime. Maybe it follows abit more closely with the og works than with anime, dunno tho.

@Mikasa2077 Yes, this manga is almost beat-for-beat the same as the OG manga by Osamu Tezuka with updated graphics, but I don't remember much of the blind monk since it's been many years since I last read the original manga. The anime has changed so many things, from 48 demons simplified to 12, and Dororo's ability to communicate being nonexistent until he gained back his vocal cords in episode 6, so there wasn't even a voice actor listed for Hyakkimaru until episode 6.

Would've been more of a hoot if eyes on floor turned and continuously watched Dororo after going in. So if MC couldn't see before how did he know where people were and stuff? Well in any case, Dororo definitely related to MC as the first time MC looked at Dororo could tell Dororo had his eyes. :) Lot of foreshadowing going on.

Why Dororo wears female clothes? Because she actually have clothes now instead of random cast-offs. As actually having clothes that protect from cold is very nice thing for survival.
