That transfer exam is so wrong on so many levels. What happens if everyone is best at the same element so only have one team, everyone passes? Also, regardless of skill usually if have one person facing a group of three or more they'll be beaten by numbers attacking from multiple positions at the same time so will still lose even if take one or two out. That and the exam doesn't show skill, power, or how useful their ability is for anything other than battle.
