lol it might just be that I've seen the formula enough within this manga itself that I started laughing a lot at the last couple of pages.

the fault lies pretty much on the okumura dude, he purposely sent incompetent doctor over the grudge of having his lie revealed (by the other guy confession) to get the credit.

and ebato seems to be testing him after all, wondering if goto still believe on his principle buy baiting him up with the donor thing

So Ebato ordered the cameras? Koto is going to be directing two surgeries isn't he. And because fat doc has fled, Hoshino is going to have to operate on Ushii. This feels ridiculous but that's the kind of manga this is, and I love it for it.

It's not surprising considering the high pressure antifailure society that Japan is, plus the fact that big city junior doctors don't get much opportunity doing actual surgery, plus the culture promotes being doctors do for the money/prestige rather than saving lives.
