@Mojo Yep, he seems to be. I was thinking the exact same thing. She's stupid because she did not even tell him beforehand. In the first ch (?) there seemed to be a villager running to inform him, but it seemed like it was too late. I know she believed the monk, but she should of thought what might happen if for some reason it didn't work. I can only assume the dad, if they follow her wishes and give it to budha, and it doesn't work would probably have to become a beggar (she seemed to do the majority of the work ) and slowly starve to death, or maybe kill himself filled with grief over his daughter's death and his impending doom. Even if the donation works how would he feel knowing what his daughter did to get it for him. She's also his only child and seemingky his only relative plus caretaker. That's if they give it to him and others don't try to steal his rice since he's blind and has a lot. You think those guys would ask/tell him beforehand she seems somewhat young and they knew her name, so don't they know about her father.

The other parts are fluffy although I figured she would faint, since she was doing all this strenuos stuff after just getting there and not eating or asking if she could.
