Anyway, I can only assume 2 possibilities of why Cordelia can't recognize him as Prince:
1. She's just not that good in noticing people's face, even tho he just changed the cloack, the hair, and add a nice belt.
2. He used some kind of magic that hinders people from recognizing him. This is not mentioned but still plausible IMO.
