Dungeon Meshi - Vol. 10 Ch. 65 - Rabbit, Part II

What a surreal chapter. Amazing.

Also, yeah, that's some serious Monkey's Paw shit going on.

I ended up diving through some old chapters, and I noticed there was some foreshadowing to the Winged Lion's interest in Marcille. Back when Laius first meets the Lion and sees a vision of his dream kingdom, Marcille ends up being the main administrator in Laius's vision and the Winged Lion is impressed by her skills. He even says that she'd make a good dungeon. It seems like he picked Laius first because of his skill and desire, realized that Laius is a little too weird, and pivoted to Marcille.

Also, looking back at the chapter on Marcille's nightmare, she says her dad died early and her mom told her that she would live longer than most people- was her mom an elf and her dad a human or some other species with less of a life span? She says that she grew up near the island instead of near elf lands, so that corroborates that theory.

Marcille is too precious. The lion demon was so excited about her wished that he almost broke his disguise.

@spurgleburgle Keep in mind that Marcille has round ear tips, while literally every other elf has sharp pointy ears. Also, when the artist did species variations, Marcille looked similar in her base form to her fully human form.

She has become the cutest necromancer.

Winged Lion is not even trying anymore, we can see him with the demon eyes and all.

I'm actually disappointed by the explanation as to how the rabbits work, people's theories last chapter that they caused "internal decapitations" were a lot more novel...

This chapter was so dense with stuff.

Everyone's about Marcille being the MVP and rightly so. That's a sinister lion.

But poor Izutsumi literally died of fright.

Of course Marcille will be the one tempted by the lion!!!

This chapter had everything comedy, action, taboo magic, tragedy....

Thank for the translation EHS!!!

Marcille really grown a lot from chapter 1. She's still jumpy here and there but matured quite a lot.

Thanks for the translation!
