@sysco I would argue that Ryuu is just the romanitization of her name in Japanese, リュー, and Lyu is the official spelling in the localization, but this official chart says otherwise:

So, yeah, you're right. Ryuu is the correct way of spelling her name (native Japanese speakers tend to shorten prolonged vowels to one due to Hepburn romanitization, a method I find to be incompetent in transcribing the Japanese alphabet to our roman one, but unfortunately it is the official method of doing so).

@sysco That's what's in the title. I went with what the official Light Novel used for names though, which is Lyu. Same for Runoa, which could be also translated to Lunoa or more freely Lunoire. I don't want to switch between different names when reading Light Novel or the Manga.

I feel like Runoa made a wise choice by not associating too much with Demeter and her familia. If Demeter sticks quite strictly to her role as a harvest goddess and her familia members also concentrate on it (some dungeon exploration notwithstanding), other, more ruthless familias likely would leave her in peace, simply because she's uninteresting or irrelevant for them. But if someone like Runoa was hanging around all the time, it would attract attention Demeter's peaceful familia could be ill-equipped to handle.
