MONSTERS
We kill monsters, we don't say "oh well, he was just trying to survive." Using your philosophy, its okay to ignore murder as long as it was just ONE murder.

The rabbit has been trying to get him killed since day one. The rabbit was reaponsible for alerting the first of the boars and at least one group of wolves. He also regularly lies and incites violence among the humans. Its not a matter of not holding a grudge, its a matter of trust. NONE of the guides are trustworthy individuals, and the rabbit at the very least has proven himself too dangerous to leave alive and in proximity to humans.
Kill him and be done with it, and be prepared to kill every guide you come across because they're all murderers, liars and cheats, each and every one.

But I still hate him. "It's all that fucking bug's fault". Dude, it's the trap that failed to kill him. I get it, because of him the rabbit's facing troubles, but you can't really expect the dude to commit suicide just cause you say so. Blame the Dungeon.
