I know the TL must have taken some liberty to adapt this for the English speaking audience, but the exact translation of the soda's name is 8-star Cider (cider is what they call soda in Korean). The real product name is 7-star Cider, so 8-UP totally makes sense in this context.

Strangely enough, adding an actual human to the story is going to be super annoying, 5 or so chapter will be "Wow, the MC is so OP, coooll and strooong" moment which pretty much already happened before when the bunny joined, and THEN the story will finally progress, God forbid the author decided to add another human after that
