I honestly think that at the time if Noriko had shown remorse and shame instead of gloating and rubbing it in he would have 100% forgave her. He had no malice or hatred for the cannibal girl because he knew she was just doing what she need to survive. What Noriko did and the way she did it was unforgivable.
