Earth Recording 0001 - Oneshot

aah, nice oneshot, haven't read one with emotional backstories and a gut-punch in a while, and it had a happy ending to boot!

As a suggestion, when breaking words across lines, you should break between syllables and put the hyphen at the end of the first line and not the beginning of the next one.

Also, image 3, "women's" should be "woman's."

a slight detail that some might have missed, when it was past 2 years the space suit actually changed it's design meaning there was progression in human invention with time passing

I know it's a metaphor and not really about that, but still...far too human to be alien. Sweet story otherwise.

@WhyThatLogin Alien literally just means foreign entity. Something could have a genome completely identical to humans, but they would still be considered Aliens if they aren’t from Earth

@RemWasTaken luckily it seems the uploader noticed and fixed it lol, the first version on upload described the moon as a planet, otherwise very good work by the uploader and translators

@dArkus_Orion Yeah, but there is the whole being created with the big bang itself wandering space for billions of years in complete loneliness thing. Whatever, this is not what this oneshot is about, so it's fine. It's just that these things always bug me in stories.

This oneshot is a complete story all its own. It's perfect the way it is, though I wouldn't mind a lighthearted omake or two where Io and Mawatari chat about different things and strengthen their bond.

Shooting directly at any kind of alien life form in outerspace should be rule #1 of things not to do. Like FFS, people gotta be constantly reminded of how WEAK humans actually are, and that it was purely because of our technology, abundance, and intelligence to adapt, that made us thrive on Earth. BUT THAT'S ON EARTH! We literally only exist because our environment is like small compressed bubble, isolated from the rest of space itself. Even in terms of technology, if a being that flew onto our moon with ease, that's already a HUGE gap from our current technology, which can't even send humans to Mars.

Seriously, if any intelligent aliens visited earth, we'd seriously have no choice, either it's destruction or subservience, best case subordination.
