Crying? Ha! Surely you jest!

ok maybe a little :c

Wow dude. I got bella chills at the last panel. A lot of emotions started to stir in my body.

Decent, just annoyed that it had no explanation for why he didn't notice the kid getting worse physically when he was alive. The kid not asking for help can be written off but not the guy not noticing any physical effects it would have to be stuck out on a balcony constantly

@VoidR
It wouldn't be easy at all tbf whoever his abuser was probably avoided the face and arms

Plus it seems they had some distance between them so it probably wasn't that noticable*

@smolbaka @VoidR a simple mean of domestical abuse without any marks is to leave the child outside on the balcony during the night. Nothing more is needed. The child (or anybody) can die if it's too cold , too hot or under heavy sun. If you are put in an exposed place with no mean of protection, you can die relatively easily.
This has already happened quite a few times IRL: the child was "annoying" so the parents put it on the balcony to punish him and left him here. If it's only a few times, there won't be too much damage (but it's still child abuse), but if it's done repeatedly (like here) the health will slowly deteriorate.

Edogawa Osamu's anthology include individual short stories unrelated to each other. We've translated a bunch and will release in the order that the chapters are finished editing. So yeah, there's no particular order despite the chapter numbering.

Very cute and uplifting short stories. Everyone should read them to make their day a little bit brighter.

This manga exists to make me happy for a brief moment and then hit me with a sad story

A frikking roller coaster of emotion that I desperately want to get off but could not bring myself to quit.
