i felt this chapter so hard. i had an inferiority complex throughout my schooling years since my mom was emotionally/physically abusive, and spared no effort in undermining me.

day in, day out i'd rock up to school, chat, reset. these friendships never felt real. for the longest time, i thought they only liked socialising with [the idea] of me. it's been a few years, and there's no quick fix. I'm still trying to fight the mentality.
