[ol]1. Intelligence : Realising in which situations the views he wants can occur.
2. Stoic(ness) : Don't show outwardly signs of actually noticing the situation, because that would trigger them to realize the situation.
3. Kindness & Persistence : Going the longer distance to make sure he gets the situations as he wants them to, even if it appears to them he's taking a loss for being kind. (If it was a game, he might've even gotten some affection points for eg. giving up this spot so she could have a better view)[/ol]

I can definitely see how the author struggles trying to keep Eguchi not looking disgusting. Looks rather hard to balance between the creepiness he might portray after reading these recent chapters while trying to portray him as looking innocent.
