Eien Shika Hoshikunai

Same as always, nothing new or interesting on this story. Still, thanks for the scan and translate team.

Thank you for the update but i cant seem to read the chapter, i think its broken

Small rant:

While having its good points, this also sets off every creep alarum as the love interest is basically in the protagonist's house against his will, invading his personal space against his permission (and blatantly doggedly pursuing the protagonist, from day one, while doing so), with the protagonists' job held over his head to coerce him into accepting this.

Like, I think it tries reasonably hard to keep all of the moving parts out of the way so that you can forget just quite how horribly creepish the whole setup is. But the love interest desperately needs someone to sit him down and give him a serious ethics lecture, or something. Also possibly a short stint behind bars.

That said, this still nearly works okay: Either as a vapid turn-off-your-brain piece where one ignores how messed up it all is, or as a "two broken people that compliment each other" plot... But the problem is, it presents itself as neither: The protagonist is supposed to have "serious problems", but stalker-boy is presented as some kind of "angel that heals him", and it sort of ends up feeling like the protagonist is getting gas-lighted (except almost certainly accidentally on the author's part).

And so ultimately, by part-way through chapter 2, I couldn't enjoy this at all. A small pity, because it otherwise seemed like something I would have reasonably enjoyed (I did skim through the latter half of the volume), if the series didn't keep periodically implying that all that stalker stuff and the like was perfectly valid loving behavior.

I mean, it's clearly not intended to be malicious; I don't even know if it intends to promote the behavior it espouses, or anything, or whether it's just that the author was not thinking at all. There is some circumstantial evidence for the latter conclusion XD
