Oh wow, I always did wonder why kobolds were usually dogs in Japanese depictions while some people I know say that they're absolutely supposed to be lizard people.

I've got to say, it wasn't just Japanese translators that interpreted Kobolds as little bipedal dog folk. My impression as a kid (either from one of my parent's AD&D monster manual, or else from my eldest sister's descriptions of them in a campaign she was in, or both) was basically the same.

Not only that but you're telling me a 3 year old was able to get bit in the shoulder by a wolf and not pass out? Most adults would pass out from pain like that, no way is a 3 year old child able to brush off pain like that. I just think its insanely unrealistic even for a fantasy world.

I'm getting too used to reading right to left. I did it a lot before I started getting interested in manga, but at this point it's hindering my normal reading. Still never gonna stop.
