She doesn't have an obligation to do so, really, but I do think it would be the right thing to do. I feel like it would be particularly meaningful for Finia.

I just thought of this now but why doesn't the MC just pretend that she can see the "spirit" of her former self (Reid). So that way she can live as their daughter but still close up "loose ends" for Reid at the same time.

Example: If she needs to tell the other heroes something that only Reid could know or something, she could just pretend that his " spirit" told it to her. Or she could also have conversations with her parents as Reid using that same method.
