Eiyuu no Musume Toshite Umarekawatta Eiyuu wa Futatabi Eiyuu o Mezasu - Vol. 2 Ch. 10 - The Source of the Sound

Sheesh she's dumb. I thought she had knowledge from past life, but I guess she was dumb back then too, huh?

Well, seems like it's true what they say: WOMEN MAKE MEN GO DUMB. apparently reincarnating as a girl is making this former hero grow stupid with each day he passes living as a girl...

@Siikalahna: His knowledge from past life is exactly what led him to this.

He was the loner solo assassin type who worked fine (well, until whatever got him killed last time)

But now he's a (physically) weak little girl without the full might of his past life, meaning situations that used to be 'fine' for him to handle are no longer true.
Yet despite that his thinking is still the same so he keep getting into trouble beyond what he can handle. (or maybe that's just in his nature, sticking his neck into trouble solo regardless of his own strength?)

@WhimsiCat except assasins types dont just deal with taking people out, they deal with information, recon and stealth.

Forgetting to turn on concealment, not realizing there were sound proof magic tools and swinging the weapon in poor range choice, all screams amatuer.

Now we know why he died, he was a 3rd rate assasin

But remember guys... They only became an assassin in the first place because their abilities weren't suited to anything else.

They really wanted to be a hero in the "true" meaning of the word. IE someone who adventures around, saving innocents and thwarting evil plots with action...

They just aren't there yet and the body they have isn't as good at doing all the stealth/sabotage things they learnt to do in the last life. It was a simple miscalculation of time and an underestimation of the "small time" slaver ring.

@chenando1 The worst part of this setup is that it requires the MC to be "stupid" for it to happen so this person seems to be less believable as a result...

... Am I the only one who's curious why the third kidnapper went back inside abruptly, without saying anything?

@kite722 >there's raws out for 11 more chapters beyond this one.
Chapter 14 is the latest?

@urtoast
In the tankoubon it is 吊切鉈 with tsurukirinata in furigana.

The MC is supposedly an adult, on top of having additional teen years in experience, but her thought processes are truly, truly juvenile.

This is no different from reading Nancy Drew... fuck. I just made myself feel ancient.

It can be excused that he (now she) is still getting used to his new body which probably had weaker hearing than his previous. BUT, how can he forget to activate his own ability (gift?) that he literally had his whole (previous and current) life? He's trying to hide from them yet using one of the abilities best used in this situation (concealment) never crossed his mind until it is too late?

I can only use this for my feeling right now.

@Shirobane
When I said chapter, I meant the chapter releases. I have no idea why they keep labeling these chapters as like 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, etc, it's retarded because each one is the length of an average legitimate manga chapter. Counted up, there are 11 more of those after this one with "15.1" being the latest release.

It may took so long to read the latest (english version) chapter but still, I am grateful that they did not abandoning it

As the hero became a child, so did his intelligence.
Bad luck, just memories doesn't makes one smarter in this isekai.
