Eiyuu no Musume Toshite Umarekawatta Eiyuu wa Futatabi Eiyuu o Mezasu - Vol. 3 Ch. 17.1

On page 2 is it gendered in Japanese?
Because it's probably the dwarf she's talking about, which would be "him", not "her"
(Or just make it gender neutral, the safest bet)

as a Texan who lives in the south coastal area, I want to argue that humid comment the problem is I am a Texan who lives in the South Coastal area of Texas.

I wonder if any of the remaining heroes are able to see souls, and would ID the MC on sight.

@HDMI1 That seems unlikely, considering they've all met her now and none have said anything.

The only thing that's connected Nicole with Reid was Maxwell noting the hair tied around the kidnapper's legs which reminded him of Reid's thread manipulation.

@scottle but it is used in the correct why and even written right ... it isnt like Fate where the german sentences dont make sense at all.

I find it weird how Nicole's parents didn't notice anything weird about her/him. Else, they could be just acting?

I read ahead in the manga raws a bit. They sort of drag this little plot out a bit with some bumps....and the medicine has a...thing that needs to be done.

Basically they couldn’t get the necessary material because a the treant queen needs something first. The group has to go get it.

This leads to finding out a girl was kidnapped. And at night Nicole goes to rescue her. The interesting thing here is that Nicole channeling her past life experience makes her very deadly. She kills the three kidnappers effortlessly. Saves the girl and fights off what seems to be another assassin that was hired. She eventually kills him too.

Once the group gives the thing the treant Queen wanted, the doctor makes the medicine...but medicine can’t be taken directly. It has to be done mouth to mouth. So far, it’s Nicole’s former cat girl comrade and elf maid that do deep kisses to give her the medication. This need to be repeated a number of times.

In the meantime, Maxwell investigates the dead kidnappers and discovers how they were killed. He concludes that it is definitely how Reid would have done it, but is confused since Reid is confirmed dead. So he wonders who could possibly be doing things exactly how Reid would do it. He’s by far the only character in the entire series who might discover Nicole is Reid’s reincarnation based on the evidence Nicole is leaving behind.

Nothing of note happened this chapter. It's ok to give it a skip. I might drop.
@Hayatekanzaki genuinely thanks for the spoilers, I won't have to waste more time with this series until maybe next arc

@stretch22
From what I’m reading from the WN of the events
There’s a discussion amongst the remaining members of the Six Heroes after this event.

1. The results of minute details found at investigating the house of the kidnappers leads to the conclusion that Reid might be alive again, reincarnated as a child. Due to the fact that they know how Reid does things. They know about reincarnation magic, Maxwell also seems able to use it but supposedly the randomness factor of reincarnation magic makes it less ideal to use.

2. Since they believe Reid is alive again, they wonder why he never tried to get in touch with them.

3. They at first were going to try and find him. But Nicole somehow stopped that.

========

Later on after a different incident involving Cortina, Maxwell correctly infers Nicole is Reid due to the events. He also manages to somewhat trick Nicole in answering to his old name. This proving that Nicole is Reid.

At this point in the story, through magic, Nicole is able to project her old appearance. And through an even better magic, she can create an older version of herself. Nicole also gets Reid’s gauntlets and changes them since the original form would be instant evidence she is Reid since they are one of a kind gauntlets.

Based on LN pictures, the outfit she is forced to wear in adult form is based on Maxwell’s preferences and shows lots of skin. Also Maxwell admits that if he was 100 years younger, he would push down Nicole(adult mode) and make her his wife. Nicole/Reid shivers at that thought.

"the other day" feels like a mistranslation if I'm reading the context right. Aren't they talking about something that happened years ago?

some corrections to the names.
on one of the pages Lyell's name is misspelt as 'Rayel'
MC's previous name is generally translated as Reid not Raid even though レイド is probably closer to Raid in pronunciation.
also its Gaddles not Gadoles (ガドルス)

Next chapter... MARCH 15TH!?
Please tell me it's March 15th of a previous year and the raws are way ahead of the translation...

@YamiryuuZero Previous year lol

@mimisan Alright, we'll keep that in mind. We had 2 translators on this and I haven't memorized the names.

@Authvin Ah I see what you mean. Bad mistranslation there. It could mean "Some time ago" or "Before" i guess

@Chibi-Angi Did it jokingly. I just hope everyone knows what "Nein" means lmfao
