Soo...finally got the official Vol 1. Flipped though it to see what was different from the scanlation version, besides the title. The biggest thing missing from the official English version was any translation notes, something I very much missed and appreciate from Ditshick because I love reading the trivia and/or jokes that would have been either lost in translation, or completely replaced with a localized version which I don't care for at all. I'll still continue buying them because I like the 4-koma omake, and to have the books for my collection, but I'll most definitely continue to read the more preferred scanlated version first.
