I think is kinda amazing how this thing keeps managing to get even worse every chapter. Too bad because I really liked the first few chapters.

@Kamui, Ha, I've been pretty much saying the opposite after each chapter.

@SDK, well, I will give you the first few ones, and the fact that the world the author created is really interesting, but the story itself was breaking apart since Stella's flashback. Now the author not only managed to break the story magic system, but also introduced concepts that weren't foreshadowed at all to try to fix the plot. Before the story at least was entertaining but the endless boring fights didn't help either.

I think being a linchpin ensuring the continued existence and development is a rather important role. Not sure how he interpreted what the Overseer was telling him.
