Ester de Valonia

It's not bad, I suppose? But it needs to shape up in the coming chapters if it wants to stand out in any way. 10/10 rating from me.

The feels so similar to overlord except the king is weak, but I'm a huge fan of overlord so I'll give this a try, depend on how it's play out it's might be an enjoyable story.

Don't read it, this manga is failing at everything. It's not even good at internal management, it's just cliché gags. The main character is barely featured after the first chapter. I got baited by the high score, but after reading the published chapters I feel confident giving it a 3/10. Art is fine but the rest of it is a mess.

Art is decent, the premise is basically Overlord for better or worse (many of the characters you can even match to their Overlord counterparts lol), and the pacing/flow of the chapters is...not great. I guess I'll stay followed for now, but it's gonna be a drop for sure if it doesn't improve soon.

It does follow monsters and the leaders are a bit crazy like Overlord, but this has a less dark feel than Overlord and isn't just about domination... so far at least.

This is not a place for review, but i think i am just going to do it here. I've read the WN using google translate so i am just going to base it of that and the snipet shown by raw scanlated part of the manga. basically this is overlord with an actual responsible adult instead of chuunibyou with power. That's pretty much the premise of this manga, the pacing may be all over the place and are definitely inferior to overlord but world building wise it's good enough. Don't expect internal management anywhere after the first volume. it's focused on ester de baronia/valonia (the country) more than the MC itself (though since ester de valonia are centered on him his decision is always important) so after dealing with sudden internal problem due to the transportation, it become sidelined as external problem become more of of the main focus. This one is world domination under the veil of friendship aka usual politic. The MC are a nice guy but know his responsibility as a king (usually soft and prefer to make friend with other country but won't shy out of dominating a country if it would profit the country) .The subordinate themself are similar to overlord 'everything else is just an ant compared to their country and the leader is the best'. It's interesting read, even if it's not a masterpiece but please try it out.

This basically just Overlord, with a few twists. Since overlords future is in question, this is a nice substitute.
