Eve no Okusuri - Ch. 5

I swear that will read the next one purely because it's the last one. I'm sorry in advance if i complain here but that's too fucked up. At least Ibu's relation seem heathly. Ena should have really back the fuck up of the Senpai. I guess Flowerchild don't want to write a normalrelationship between two girls, it always had to be twisted. And why the fuck did you threaten her ? You realise you were having sex with a minor and forcing another one to participate ? Not to mention that you threaten the other to keep it secret. You should thankful that Ena didn't report any of that shit because muh manga logic where nobody will report anything no matter what happen.

When the 2 vibrators were hanging from her crotch that was the most BRUH moment I've seen in yuri, of course I don't like NTR, but not sure if this is the same considering they were both trying to get her, in fact, I'm glad she stayed instead of going home to cry and feel the pain of a broken heart knowing that her love stayed with someone else while she's crying alone, that would have been awwwwfulllll.
What I don't get is the "THIS IS GrOSSS!" while you were sitting there, that sounded like Haruki too much for my liking, a bad imitation of tsundere at that point.

I hope they get together and leave the coach behind of course, I don't want them to have normal sex at this point, but I want to see just the 2 of them.

What I don't get is the "THIS IS GrOSSS!"

You mean the fact that an adult make 2 minors having sex together isn't a justification ?

I don't like NTR, but not sure if this is the same considering they were both trying to get he

Trust me that i learn that NTR doesn't necessary mean that the one getting NTR is in relation with the other.

I think Kaori know how Ena feels about her..

Coach is a bitch, she is a cunt, a fucking annoying twat that I can't stand.. If she brought Ena in because she knew how she felt well.. great work, I just want her gone if her business is over with those too..

Thanks for the chapter <3<3<3 >w<

This is Hentai.

People looking for healthy relationships in Hentai are just... lol.

@Kirin-kun I don't like leaving a comment on a hentai thread, but I feel compelled to inform you that it's sometimes necessary to cross the H threshold to see any substantial Yuri content.

65% of the time, Yuri manga is zero-substance "will they-won't they" for 22 chapters with the final chapter ending with a kiss that's partially obstructed by cherry blossom petals.
Do I read yuri ero-manga for hardcore girl-on-girl action? OF COURSE... But I also read yuri manga for the psycho/sociological aspects of having a homosexual relationship in a country that's emphatically obsessed with its declining birthrate.

Unfortunately, one of the consequences of yuri being "taboo" is the fact it gives rise to characters like the tennis coach... Depicting lesbians as sexual predators lacking empathy or remorse only further stigmatizes and drives the yuri genre further "underground." It's a perpetual cycle of degeneracy breeding degeneracy.

P.S. I still find it funny that incest and pedophilia (shota/loli) is more normalized in Japan than homosexuality.

@MrMcNasty there are plenty adult "yuri" manga out there, with real questions and some answers about lesbian relationships.

I don't get what your point is? That even Hentai is a legitimate way to present lesbian relationships? Sure, I think I could find a couple easily on Dynasty.

But this one is clearly not one of these. It just plays into the fetishes of men and does nothing to further the idea that lesbians are just normal persons with different preferences.

My own point is that Lillywhit seem to be "angry" at this manga, maybe for valid reasons, but the author, and the Japanese readers too probably, never wanted to make a statement about lesbian relationships. They just want to jack off.

That's the whole extent of this type of manga, much like shota or loli, and fighting against it is like Don Qixote fighting against windmills.

@Kirin-kun
The author is a woman, though. People really should stop associating their own perceived quality of works of fiction based on what gender the author is. It's not doing anyone favors. Many lesbians in real life share the same preferences as straight men, and women aren't exempt from the so-called "oversexualization" of the opposite gender. I don't even know why I bother telling people this at this point.

@afkeroge What does this whole thing has to do with the gender of the author? She doesn't jack off, alright. She schlicks. Who cares?

Lots of women, straight or otherwise, schlick when they read manga about yaoi guys getting it on. So, what?

The intended audience of this manga is clearly not the lesbians in general. Some lesbians probably enjoy it because it flips their switch, alright. But this doesn't invalidate my point that it doesn't make any statement about lesbians relationships and is just what it looks like: a bunch of fetishes. Talking about a character reporting this or that to authorities is just plain missing the nature of Hentai. It's quixotic at best, stupid at worst.

@Kirin-kun
"But this one is clearly not one of these. It just plays into the fetishes of men and does nothing to further the idea that lesbians are just normal persons with different preferences."

So are we just going to ignore this remark of yours, then? You're making assumptions about the reasons the author has for making this work. Not only that, you seem to be acting all high and mighty about it, too. Just because it's "a bunch of fetishes" doesn't mean that it's made with a particular demographic in mind. The book's intended demographic and the section of the store it's sold in is "Josei," by the way, that's "women" in English. Not that men can't enjoy it, it's just that your whole spiel seems to imply that women don't, or shouldn't, create works that involve lesbians in a way that you people see as "male-oriented."

@afkeroge what the hell dude. You totally missed my point. It was always about how some people see this manga as bad because it promotes unhealthy (as commonly perceived in the West anyway) and "degenerate" lesbian relationships, which in turn would cement that impression in the Japanese minds.

I don't think it's a bad manga, or a good one for that matter. And I've read enough Mira to know that women like to draw and read lesbian porn too.

And it's "Josei" here but "Seinen" on Manga Updates. Young Comic is a Seinen magazine, ie for young adults, men or women. The target was never primarily women, so your point is falling through.

@Kirin-kun
"And it's "Josei" here but "Seinen" on Manga Updates. Young Comic is a Seinen magazine, ie for young adults, men or women. The target was never primarily women, so your point is falling through."

Except it's... not? This series is published in the Mebae Vivid Yuri Anthology books, which is a magazine under the publisher Shonen Gahosha. Young Comics is also under this publisher, but Eve's Medicine is not published in this magazine. The Manga Updates page is mistaken. Japanese stores that sell this manga volume either label it as Josei, or not label it with a demographic.

This whole argument is pointless, and I think we're just misunderstanding each other here. It ultimately doesn't even matter who this manga is "made for" or who the author is, is what I'm saying. You either enjoy it, or you don't. I'm just tired of seeing man-hating idiots complaining about how yuri manga are "made for the male gaze," when it's obviously not true. Not talking about you, though, now that you've made your point clear.

@afkeroge TERF rekt with facts and logic

But you're right though, people here are looking too deeply into their hentai. If they want good writing and no objectification or sexualization they shouldn't be reading hentai and instead go for something like Bloom Into You. If they want wholesome Yuri hentai, there's Syou. Flowerchild has always been about wild passionate love, taboo relationships and spicy drama.

good God these guys... rambling over eh?,

this is nice~ kinda wholesome, if only there's no Ntr elements this'll be wholesome~
