Everything Was a Mistake - Ch. 16

This kind of story just makes my trust issue worst lol. So the author wanna play this huh. But still, in the end of the day, he did every creepy things to save or Satisfy his self. Don't ever forget all creepy, criminal things he did to her. Lil good deed (for himself, mind you) WONT ever make other creepy things right. Gah I hate him

OHO CAUGHT YA AUTHOR!!
Wanna bring fckup family story and adding some missunderstanding drama to making this a creepy male lead. And then after a good explanation it turn be a romance. This is so good to looking forward how this story become. 🔥🔥.

Literally one instance of him being a dipshit. Doesn't excuse everything that happened.

He's still a douche bag. He needs therapy, not a girlfriend. Also he better have a good reason for not just killing, sorry, arranging an accident for mommy dearest and elder brothers.

Yeah well, when people look at him from their own biased or sheltered POV it'll look like he's the most selfish or evil young master... nobody had thought to understand him in the slightest. I'm glad to finally read things from his own POV. Duroe, although being an anomaly from the start & just by existing had changed things significantly, still chose to believe the FL without trying to understand the ML. I'm a little disappointed in Duroe because it probably doesn't occur to her that she's not affected by his powers & even after the memory retrieval she doesn't detect any changes to the original story (or the ML's behaviour) because of her presence. She knew/knows him on the surface level through & through & that frustrates me the most currently. Nobody tries to understand him too.

It's just a massive misunderstanding. Both Duroa and Edgar think that she was only hanging out with him because she was brainwashed, but his powers never affected her.

Yea this is still not an excuse. All he hax to do was open himself up to Duroa and tell her the truth, at least, about his behavior/family life. She would have easily understood. Even now, before her memories came back and Alice told her the premonitions, she still would have understood him. I need to see him suffer and desparetly try to get her love with sincerety before I even start to ship this. He's trash as is.

FINALLY there's some explanation bc the previous chapters are really confusing, idk if I like this way of storysteliling haha and I still wish he was just honest with her
Was he really wondering why she started rejecting him

Parents, man, will make a villain every time. Granted, understanding how he became that way doesn’t excuse his actions. He does a lot of this for his own convenience.

can't he just order a servant to bring in a new cup with detoxification enchantment and politely ask duroa to brew again after the servant drank this?
like, or at least he needs to tell duroa of the dangers he's being wary of.

miscommunication is shit for drama, and its even guiltier when its drawn out

@OllyMolly
I think there’s enough evidence here to call him a selfish young master. You’re right that he’s probably not evil. But I think there’s enough evidence to show that he can easily fall into that route. Why does he not explain anything to FL? The main problem is his family which he’s now taken care of. Why did he brainwash Alice without remorse? Why did he brainwash FL’s maid without remorse? He’s so insecure that he is using the very same magic that is harming him. Also, how the hell does this idiot not realize that FL doesn’t exhibit the same behaviors as those under his spell?
Don’t blame “sheltered” or “biased” POVs for this, he is as much at fault for this situation, and he’s doing an excellent job of making it worse

I’m going to be honest, it feels like the story stopped after Chapter 2, and is only now starting again after 14 chapters of filler. I’m glad that the story remained just barely interesting enough to get me to this point when things are getting good again, but geez, if I hadn’t been binging this I would have dropped this a while ago.

Oh, not this sh*t again. I know that he grow up in bad conditions where he can't trust to anyone. Also i can somehow understand that he didn't say anything that would explains his actions to Duroa. But he has sh*tty personality bcs what stopped him from acting like a j*rk with her all these 10 years? HAnd I don't talk only about the cup accident and so on, but how he communicates with her and behaves is not how friends behave. He never really considered her as a friend. What makes me angry is that she doesn't even treat the heroine as an equal person. Not say that he don't know how to behave with people with good intentions, bcs he has Duroa about 10 years like a friend near to him and he know that
for some reason he can't read her thought (also he can't brainwash her too?)
, so he can be more friendly to her, even if he can't open to her.
