also there’d be so much less confusion if everyone was honest. also if our female lead just thought through the fact that the youngest child of a duke family became duke while his older brothers were all still alive isn’t highly suspicious and investigated that she’d realize that’s he’s probably under threat at every turn. it’s weird to me how she can see the female and male leads (aaron) can change and or evolve but nocton apparently HAS to be evil.
