You know, people make fun of it... but Mashima really does give value to memories and bonds; he has a consistent theme where he believes that memories and bonds are the real power.

In Rave Master, the greatest source of power is called Stellar Memories. It literally is the thing that saves our good guys.

It's an actual theme. And I love how he actually keeps up with it. He turned bonds into an actual power.

And this really shows it.
