Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to - Vol. 4 Ch. 51 - Fabiniku Ojisan and Worries

@Espadas Ehh, I'm feeling like you're looking too much at the events of this comedy manga and too little at the character dynamics. Tachibana and Jinguuji are both flawed people, that's where the comedy comes from: Tachibana is kind of useless (especially after he got the goddess' "blessing") and may act childish at times, but is a genuinely friendly and selfless person while Jinguuji is very strong, competent and intelligent but also kind-of an overly analytical asshole who doesn't understand people.

Tachibana at least tried to listen to a girl who was literally going to commit suicide, which makes him look like more of an adult to me. Not to mention, wasn't it implied in a previous chapter that Tachibana wants to help the princess partly because she reminds him of how Jinguuji used to be?

I swear, if this is some sort of mind control bullshit im quitting this manga, this arc has dragged on for way too long and enough cliches have been thrown around.

Yeah, your pretty useless, and going to be even more usless if you let the maid do something bad to you. I dont even know what this isekia is trying to do anymore. last few chapters have gotten so stale for me. Its been like a chore to just read them. I dont even get how this rebellion started. Rebellions dont happen cause the princess had a tantrum.. They happen when theres a conflict in government or ruling party with another group.

@brunocar yeah taht would be annoying.. raelly annoying.

Yeah, Tachibana has been worse then useless. Rather than acknowledge that she is useless, she goes around actively causing trouble with his foolish, shortsighted tantrums. Now she is once again needing to be saved by Jinguuji, all because she wants to be praised for literally doing nothing other than being called cute.

@herz And all that issue could have been avoided too if Tachibana'd just explained that the princess was literally about to commit suicide and also didn't expect him to be on the same mental wavelength in front of the king when they've NEVER been on the same wavelength, lmao.

@steventsan

Sakuna of rice something something. It looks like a genetic beat em up, except that the MC is powered up by the food that he eat. Oh and it have this neat rice farming mechanic, which is why its called rice game

@Velsy it wouldnt just be annoying, it would be unfunny, these last few issues have been drier than the Sahara and the only reason i red something with this dumb of a concept is because it was relatively funny

@herz i've been laughing my ass off with this manga and i definitely love the characterizations of the protagonists. But there is being flawed/childish and there is being an out-of-character moron. Tachibana isn't the typical 14y old isekai protagonist that use the POWA OF FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE.

He is a freaking 32 years old worker.
And when Jinguuji points out that "bringing the crown heir of a kingdom without any kind of fighting ability with us in our extremely dangerous quest (comedy manga or not they ARE going against dangerous people) because she is sick of being cooped up in the castle" is a SUPREMELY STUPID MOVE he isn't being overanalytical or insensitive. He is being a normal average adult that realizes when a teenager is making a stupid proposition.

The princess is tired of her secluded life? Fine, it's a valid complaint, but there are dozens of different ways for her to have a more active life without having her as a dead weight and endangering the stability of an entire kingdom.

I could somewhat accept an actual teen not realizing this, but from an adult it's simply out of character. And i personally DETEST when an author makes someone act out of character just for the sake of some cliche/gag.

@herz and @Espadas the problem isn't that he's over-analytical, Jinguuji is a selfish asshole. Their whole life he's been getting other people to avoid Tachibana, just so that nobody else can monopolize his time with him. It's the same thing with this princess, he thinks the princess is totally Tachibana's type, so she has to be chased off, and humiliated in public as a punishment too. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Jinguuji instigated the bit we just saw in that flashback, with some guy friend calling him useless.
