I was kinda hoping that Illya would guilt Kid Gil into taking this seriously, by pointing out that humanity died on his watch.
Gil then has a bit of a freak out, then commits himself to taking things seriously in an epic scene.
Then they would work together to save the world.

For a while there, I was starting to dislike this manga. I couldn't follow what was going on that well, and it was really depressing.

I'm enjoying it again now, though, since I've stopped trying to follow the story and i just enjoy watching cute magical girls without thinking too much about it. So now, going back in time? Sure, whatever.

I love how they basically just rayshifted but instead of using chaldeas they used an actual counter guardian, a demigod with clairvoyance and a stick providing unlimited mana supply. Chaldea basically got nothing on this lmfao
