Father, I Don't Want This Marriage! - Vol. 1 Ch. 3

That's so out of character?? She was so lovable in that scene where she was a child so I just find it so ??? that yesterday's instance was enough to change his behaviour towards her?

I did think there may have been more to it when he gave her the dagger in the first chapter but I just really can't make a connection to whatever could be going on inside his head with the way he's acted and is acting right now

I finally understand the comment about "do you need a mother" from a chapter ago. If she needs another mother I'm up for it too.

@omnommai
I think he's just misunderstood. He has terrible parenting and communication skills, I'm not sure if he realise that.

I'm assuming he gave her the dagger to protect herself just in case and the "bear with it" is a clear indication that he didn't mean for her to commit suicide, he probably went to investigate without elaborating.

The reason why he send her to that room, again in assuming, is no one can go inside unless they're royalty, and no magic can be used, so I'm assuming he though it'd be the safest place for her while he investigates.

I might be wrong, but so far this is my conclusion. He clearly cares about her but doesn't know how to show/express it. Of course it doesn't make him innocent an without fault, but a father who originally cares and doesn't know how is worth forgiving and better in my standards than one who started to care after she changed her attitude.

@edma I did think something like that might have been the case when she was falsely accused and after catching up with the updates I understand now what caused him to act differently from his previously cold and indifferent attitude.

My comment wasn't really just about if he cared for her or not but how he suddenly knew how he wanted to act or what kind of relationship he wanted with his daughter when she has more or less had been open with being affectionate or seeking for him throughout his childhood (though this is just how I understood it)

Anywayyy.... I can understand families being distant towards their children especially if and when they’ve been raised similarly (ie not raised but rather neglected and leaving the child to grow and develop on their own) BUT it doesn’t excuse their shitty behaviour lol dont be surprised if they want nothing to do with you if you’ve basically paid no attention to their existence the majority of their life. Naturally that would also potentially have an effect on socialising and how they interact with others, so if people were to think someone pathetic just from an outside view without considering WHY they’re that way, idk man that’s their own issue

lol @ the father flexing his mojo.

Man i really dont want ML to be that person but whatever, rest is hot garbage so he may as well be it.

Man. Is that castle like, a default free model that comes with whatever program all korean webcomic artists use?
I've seen it so often in these korean transmigration stories.

@MsLilly right? My thoughts exactly! the design is so eyecatching, so it's easy to remember. It's pretty annoying.
