Fechippuru - Bokura no Innocent Love - Vol. 2 Ch. 22 - New Year's Idiot Parade

@Jmann, Never used guess-reading mode for anything but hentai manga. Why spoil it for myself.

And yeah, why are those born in March year higher than those in April? Even here in Croatia where schoolyear starts in September (and ends in June) has a "year" border in April.

@GroundDead there was so many yelling in the previous chapters comment sections, like "omg so much drama further blah blah blah" that I just can't stop myself from curiosity to take a peek 😅

The author has drunk couple antics down pat! I've witnessed a couple of alcohol fueled couple circuses & this chapter is almost a carbon copy of them, lol.

@GroundDead: Using my own country's school system as a reference point, it's probably because the system is mule-headed about strict age boundaries for school admission and only count the year when calculating a person's age... though in my country's case, IIRC there's an exception for those who are only less than 5 months younger (and another for parents who argue with the school administration vehemently enough to cause them to give in).

@MarqFJA87 There are exceptions here as well, if parents are persistant enough and kids do pass required physical minimums, they'll let kid enroll 1st grade a year early. Had a guy like that when I was elementary school. Quite common for those born in April. Funny thing is, his mother tried to enroll him a year earlier than that, so 2 years earlier (and he was born in June). Of course, school didn't have any of that. There was no reason to let him in anyway, his grades were mediocre as is, if he were enrolled 2 years early, he'd have serious issues with "difficulty" levels.
IMO, for kid's sake, should have enrolled him properly and be done with it. What's the point of finishing highschool before you are 18 (if someone is enrolled 2 years early). You can't work, can't drink, my childood area has no tertiary education so if he wanted to go to university, that's 90km away from home which is quite a distance here. Only "positive" side of enrolling kid (unless highly intelligent) early is getting "rid" of him the earliest possible. Don't see positive sides for, by everything, average kid. Being an adult sucks ass and I don't mean literally, which would be fine.

I could relate him in that whenever it is New Year, my family and friends are either flat-out drunk or loves using fireworks....
