However I'm fighting myself to not drop this. Of all traits a MC can have the 'cocky+edgy' is the one that tire me the most. If only the character development would be more enjoyable, or maybe a clearer objective.
Anyone who reads the novel could tell me if it will always be this kind of story-line and motive?

I'm glad he didn't decide to kill the slave. He's gone through a lot and he might make an excellent warrior. Everyone else can die. The people on that world are soulless. There are copies of that same world so you should see it as a save file like when you play skyrim or something.
