I smell another retest where he will have to put up with all the shit from the side characters and "learn to love and respect" or some such bullshit. And do all the heroic shit while dying inside of the sheer amount of hypocrisy. Otherwise he is growing waaaay too fast.
Also I see people judging the MC as a reclusive misanthrope, which I don't think is the case. Imagine someone who is not a strict japanese high school beta being thrust into the world of isekai cliches - that's how you get the MC. Elven rebellious princess? A teacher who imparts his teachings through sheer blunt force of level 200 bitchslaps? Ditsy, clumsy lore dump machine in a cutesy princess body? All par for the course in your run-of-the-mill isekai. Here we just ramp all the tropes up to 10, insert "the straight man" and turn all the slapstick humor, that japanese manga is filled with to the brim, into realistic, painful injury. Mull over this for a minute and only then try to judge the MC on his character. After 10 years of that kind of treatment - yeah I'd also vent out by destroying my tormentors right before the final mission.

@SGR there is more than enogth story left to tell as to why
1.yes he will have to redo it again (more than once) and as to why
[/the teaching stuff where the companions of the first hero and the first hero who like MC where strong enogth to not need these crezy women, so now they ae forcing thier image of a perfect hero onto those who go to the fantasy world (a person that is useless without the help of someone else, who happens to love at least 1 of the companions) so yeah they are more than just hypocrits]
2. every time he has to redo it the teaching staff adds a new variable to stop him from taking the easy way, through he not only finds a way to keep his skills (lvl still gets reset to lvl 1) he also walks a differnt path every time

@SGR Its not even that if spoilers are to be believed, none of it has really shown itself in this yet though.
if it was just bitchslap training that's harsh or a rebellious princess, that could be dealt with, would suck, but it can be dealt with.
but every system in this world is geared toward shitty people exploiting the hell out of it to be even shittier.
lore dump is really the most beninge of them all, but imagine the worst of the spoilers being true in this and then have a lore dump on top of it...
Its not so much ramp the tropes to 10, its ramp them to 10, get spinal tap in to get the 11 knobs and add in a 'they ramped up to 11 for the most horrible reasons a thing could go to 11' and this is where you get the mc from.
I 100% don't blame him for a single action he has taken yet.

same. the title is FFF tier hero. he's still an F tier hero right now so I'd guess that there would be at least two more retest lol.
it's pretty entertaining so far, and re:zero has shown that restarting the story to take another path.isn't as bad as it sounds as long as the author made some sense when doing it.

I really want to know if this is just overcompensating for all the slimes that were slain as low-level fodder in a certain RPG, but lately every time I see a slime in a manga or LN they're basically praised as the unexpected perfect lifeform with limitless potential...
Not that I mind, the logic does check out. Give them some solidly high specs and a slime creature is actually a pretty terrifying opponent.
