I feel like this chapter is a good example of why the MC is so twisted. The world he's stuck in seems like a typical RPG world, but it doesn't have the same safeguards. If you approach it like Siege/MC in early round 1 and take any quest that comes your way, you're going to get your ass beat/waste a bunch of time/help the wrong person/all of the above.
