“Charity project” this is actually really cute so far and the characters are funny

@Lililily the embarrassment could be because of genuine feelings (or at worst he is ashamed that he singled her out as a lesser noble who would be easy to pay off when the engagement is annulled) but drunken decision making is VERY embarrassing and being called out for it would absolutely get that reaction from him. Let's be real though. If his sister really is pestering him with women ON TOP OF the outrageous flow of official marriage interviews, this poor, high strung fool NEEDS some fermentation based support to get through such a party.

A cold and serious male character known for his skills and tactical prowess, who is actually socially awkward and shy underneath to the point of being an idiot when under pressure.

A lonely looking and sad female MC living under a minor noble family, who actually doesn't care about socializing and loves embroidery. Plus, she's way too kind for her own good.

I like these characters already.

Aaand sold. These characters are all so...I don't wanna say pathetic, but goofy isn't quite right...unique. They're unique.

No need for any special premise. Just an idiot chucking a ring randomly will do. Though as far as mutually beneficial engagements go, one explicitly to avoid the fuss of engagement talk is a new one.
