@Mangareader jiu ji tae’s style is just like Maria’s we learned that in the fight with young in the sewers. He turned into a striker that uses his jiu jitsu when he fights a truly strong opponent. His great kinetic vision is still there too that’s why he can fight groups of people by himself by dodging their attacks.

In a previous chapter its stated that his talents werent just predicting movements but adapting to his opponents and learning from them. So since he's been fighting on the streets for a month or so it actually makes a lot more sense for him to adopt a large part of his fighting style to striking and brawling.
