This got a lot worse once the fox girl was introduced, it's like the producers fired the original author and artist then ordered the new guys to replace the annoyingly selfish fatty with an annoyingly selfish loli fox girl... but while you're at it, make it more slapsticky and overly cliche... also, forget about him ranking up after defending his mom, we can just do it over again later, no one will notice... also, the tunnel from his basement to the monument should lead outside now... for no reason...

While I do agree with you, the series gets MUCH better starting in chapter 45 onwards, it's going to have action for at least 60 more chapters, this was a prelude arc to the main events per se
