I really did not remember him being from Earth, it's been years since I've read the beginning of the story since I'm currently only 10 chapters behind and wanted to refresh on a lot of things I may have forgotten like the fact the mc is from Earth.

It would equal to making Xiao Yan an even greater public laughing stock, thus affecting the reputation of the whole family, even the clan. But I suppose there are different ways to look at it.
