For those who haven't played Awakening:
Lon'qu is afraid of women (he's just shy), and Nowi (being a dragon) has a much longer lifespan than humans, so she's thousands of years old.
By the way, adult Tiki is several thousands of years older than young Tiki.

Honestly wouldn't call him shy, try more of his supports and you'll find out why he goes to such lengths to avoid women.
(He's also socially inept you might say, along with rather not touching the subject+ not minding much if others misunderstand his reasons a bit, aslong as the result is desirable.)
This chapter is spot on about him though, especially the "caretaker" bit. =D
(Try read some of the supports with miriel aswell and not just nowi for some of the caretaker tidbits, she's one of the others that dragged that side of his out a fair bit.) ;D

Well, any of those that seems like they might need someone to take care of them can bring atleast some of his "caretaker" out.
